Human Resources Representative

McCutcheon Enterprises, Inc. (MEI) is a growing, privately owned and leading waste management company, located in Apollo, PA. Since 1947, MEI has provided transportation, treatement and on site environmental services for a variety of clients.
MEI is seeking an energetic and talented individual for the key position of Human Resources Representative. The key responsibilities and duties include:
Staffing - Sources and recruits external candidates for open positions through various means (position ads, job fairs, college/technical school recruitment, outside recruitment firms as necessary) - Assesses candidates for positions utilizing various assessment methods - Administers employment offer letters, employment packages, new hire orientation and onboarding
Compensation and Benefits - administers medical, dental life, disability plans - salary and wage administration duties and administration of the merit pay program
Occupational Health Administration - Liason with occupational health service provider for new hire and annual physicals, company medical programsn and drug testing program
Training and Development - Analyses training and development needs via job analyses and skill assessments - Involved in the design and delivery of training programs
Performance Management - Oversees and facilitates performance objectives, progress reviews and annual appraisals and coaches and management of each area
Human Resources, Employee Relations and Administration - Administers company policies and rules as to corrective actions, work standards and safety rules - Manages employee corrective action process including coaching managers and conducting corrective action meetings - Maintains HR/legal compliance in areas such as EEO, FLSA, FMLA, ADA - Manages company communications and ensures consistent and fair treatment of employees - Employee attendance and performance review tracking - Administration of annual DOT driver review program - Back up for payroll adminstration
Requirements:
Qualifications and Requirements - Bachelors Degree in Human Resources of equivalent required - Professional HR Certification helpful - Five (5) or more years of human resources management experience in an industrial services, environmental services, construction or contractor related organization - Familiarity with DOT regulations is helpful - Experience working in fast paced, immediate action based and short term focused service organizations
