Process Piping Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The qualified candidate will be responsible for completing project responsibilities for design, specification, review and development of new mechanical process piping systems for the industrial / utility industry.
This person will need to make engineering studies, calculations and design specifications for the project. They will also be responsible for providing project estimates, doing detailed design, procurement, overseeing of installation, acceptance testing and performance audits.
Requirements:
BS Degree needed--PE preferred--EIT minimal needed
9+ years experience working on heavy industrial type projects in a consulting environment- in particular experience working on coal power generation plants is highly preferred.
Background in renovating/upgrading coal fire power plants, chemical, petroleum or steel plants is required
Process piping experience is required
Must have good leadership skills as well as excellent communication skills
Must also be flexible with schedules in order to compensate for a clients changing needs
