Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast enhanced radiographs of heart and cardiovascular system (angiograms), during cardiac catheterization, to aid physician in diagnostic evaluation and treatment. Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, quality control monitoring and reporting and equipment maintenance. QUALIFICATION: Education: Minimum: Graduate of a Radiology Technology program. Preferred: Training in Cath Lab REGISTRATION / CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE: Required: Current ARRT registration and CPR
Experience: Minimum: One year Radiology Technologist experience Preferred: Two years invasive/interventional radiology and/or two years in a full service Cardiac Cath Lab.
