Due to our client's recent, rapid growth, they are seeking to add a Controller to their Financial Leadership Team. This new position, along with another Controller, will jointly manage a centralized Accounting and Finance function and report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities Include: * Provide General Accounting oversight for certain designated business units * Perform monthly analysis of key income statement and balance sheet line items * Assist in preparing financial forecasts for designated business units * Monitor effectiveness of internal accounting controls and processes * Serve as key point of contact for operational Managers in addressing accounting and financial reporting issues * Monitor forecasted and actual expenses, and investigate significant variances * Manage the work flow of a team of Staff Accountants and Clerical support personnel * Work with the CFO on special projects, including business acquisitions, as they arise
