As part of a centralized support team the incumbent is responsible for providing professional support to Regional Presidents, Team Leaders, Portfolio Officers, and Administrators through timely and accurate account closings for Wealth Management. He/She will provide expertise by executing activities associated with the account closing process, in accordance with terms of governing documents and within all applicable policies, procedures, auditing, and regulations of the Comptroller of the Currency and will be expected to analyze and comprehend all account reviews for initiating account action and direction within the unit. The incumbent will be responsible for verifying all required information regarding cash and security movements to contra firms, beneficiaries, etc by providing complete account reviews, in line with investment management or fiduciary responsibilities. He/she will be accountable for closing accounts within the SEI system while confirming all required actions have been adhered to. The incumbent will also be responsible for generating required control reports for auditing purposes. The incumbent will possess solid communication skills and customer service for interaction with all levels of the organization; including outside contacts such as high net worth clients, attorneys, and brokers/advisors. The incumbent must be able to work in a highly confidential environment with some of the wealthiest, high profile clients of the corporation. He/She must possess analyzing skills, with an emphasis on details while demonstrating the ability to exercise sound judgment for problem resolution. The incumbent will possess organization skills and demonstrate the ability to ensure compliance measures are met within a high volume, fast paced, highly confidential environment. The incumbent will have a strong desire to consistently improve workflow to increase efficiencies. Ability to respond, react and adapt quickly to new processes and procedures. He/She may be called upon to act as a mentor or training resource. Ability to work independently while in a team setting. He/She will be responsible for completing ad hoc duties as they arise or are king knowledge of various types of securities and asset movement functions related to investment management, individual retirement, custody, and trust accounts. Leveraging business partners for execution of asset movements for completing the distribution lity to identify issues, seek solutions, or communicate to the proper channels for resolution. Manage all client inquiries timely to ensure a ligh level of client tralized support team member where individual performance directly impacts service to internal/external clients. Demonstrates accuracy and expertise to mitigate risk to clients and the lity to clearly and effectively communicate with clients, brokers, attorneys, and operational personnel on a daily basis. Conduct specialist or departmental training as needed. Manage client expectations by meeting or exceeding set h School Diploma. BS/BA in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred. 0-2 years experience in financial services or related field. 3-4 Years experience in financial services or related field preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferred. Familiar with BNY Mellon Wealth Management proprietary systems preferred. Possess solid communication and client service skills. Strong organizational methods with emphasis on detail for sound decisions.
