Driver - Dedicated Truck Driver - Class A CDL
Job Description:
This dedicated position in Pittsburgh, PA with the word's largest retailer features regional driving opportunities with predictable scheduling, steady miles and familiar lanes. As an experienced dedicated driver on this account, you'll provide first-rate customer service to one of our largest customers and benefit from consistent miles and stable earnings. On-site fuel, maintenance and driver support.
Hiring area: Must live within 50 miles of Pittsburgh, PA
Primary travel area is: W PA, NY, S VA, and OH
Typical time at home - 6 days on 3 days off
Pods of 3 drivers will be sharing 2 trucks
Multi-stop loads that will deliver to various stores
No touch freight
Average annual earnings - $40,000 to $60,000 based on experience
Night driving and holiday work will be expected. Most driving will be done during 2nd and 3rd shift hours.
$3500.00 Sign on bonus may apply for experienced driver and Tuition reimbursement for recent truck driving school graduates.
Recent truck driving school grads are eligible for $1000.00 sign on bonus.
If you are a U.S. military veteran, Guard member or Reservist, and new to the trucking industry, you may be eligible to earn a monthly educational benefit check from the VA in addition to your Schneider check - up to $1069 each month - through Schneider's Military Apprenticeship program.
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL in state of residence
Open to experienced drivers and recent truck driving school graduates
Haz Mat endorsement optional
Good customer service and a willingness to go the extra mile
