seeking a Human Resources Generalistfor its
Pittsburgh er the general supervision of the
Chief Administrative Officer, the HR Generalist will assist
in carrying out HR initiatives and programs within the office in
support of the goals and initiatives of the Firm. The
HR Generalist develops a strong and effective working
relationship with internal clients, including team members and
partners, acting as an internal consultant to all levels of
management in order to arrive at sound conclusions and resolution of
human resources issues.

Requirements

Requirements for Success in
the position:
*
Bachelor's degree and one to
three years of human resources experience in a professional services
firm.
*
A record of progressively
increasing responsibility and independence in performing day to day
duties.
*
Generalist background with
demonstrated hands on experience in employee relations and
performance management.
*
Familiarity with employment
law.
*
Ability to logically assess and
resolve problems independently as well as have effective conflict
resolution skills.
*
Ability to work both
independently and as part of a team.
*
Confidence to effectively
interact with all levels of Firm management and staff, clients and
other external business contacts.
Flexibility, optimism,
open-mindedness and a sense of humor are essential to success in this
position.
Flexible work arrangement
possible ( working hours of 20 to 35 hours a
week).
In addition, qualified candidates
must have advanced computer skills and a valid driver’s
license.

Conditions
Occasional out-of-town travel that
may require overnight stay.
