Natural Resources Manager Tracking Code 60RSMN.01-PI-1 Job Description The Natural Resources Manager is an integral member of a large consulting engineering firm, responsible for all Natural Resources support of projects in collaboration with the Regional Vice Presidents (RVP) and Directors of a multi-office engineering firm. The position is also responsible for marketing and business development for the firm, budgeting and scheduling, implementation of quality management plan, staff supervision and project management. Required Experience The Natural Resources Manager minimally possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management or Environmental Science with a minimum of 5 years of experience in natural resources, including wetlands delineation, mitigation design and permitting, rare and endangered species assessments, PHMC coordination and NEPA documentation. Experience in wetland assessments, river conservation plans and MS-4 stormwater permitting is a plus. Qualifications also include construction plan interpretations and review, regulatory agency coordination and permitting, project presentations, report writing and meeting facilitation. Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required. Experience with client relations, business development, marketing, proposal preparation, project budgeting and public presentations also required. The Natural Resources Manager is a client-focused leader and team player possessing strong communication, planning, team management, and organizational skills. The Natural Resources Manager travels to job sites, meetings, and regional offices as necessary.
