Mechanical Service Manager - Washington, PA (Pittsburgh Area)
Summary: Manages the repairs and maintenance of equipment assigned to the division location; reports to the Senior Division Manager.
Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Monitors activities of crew in the shop, including use of tools and equipment. - Teaches others to correctly perform equipment maintenance and minor repairs. - Ensure information flows to managers and the mechanical department in a timely manner - Delegates and oversees maintenance projects. - Inspects equipment for conformance to operational standards and DOT compliance. - Travel to special projects as required. - Manage facility maintenance. - Monitors oil samples and repair orders for the division. - Supervises the cleaning of equipment.
Educational Requirements: High School graduate
Experience Requirements: Three or more years related mechanical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (fleet management or heavy equipment/truck and trailer maintenance). Knowledge of state DOT permit requirements and procedures.
