Service Technician
Service Technician:
Service repair technician will be responsible for following Standard Operating Procedures to accurately diagnose, repair, and test gas detection equipment within standard repair time that exceeds customer's expectations.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Diagnose and repair gas detection equipment in a timely manner
Assist with configuration for shipment of replacement instruments
Assist with preparation of Rental instruments
Communicate necessary issues to the customer by phone or email
Accurate entry of necessary information into appropriate systems such as Oracle, Siebel or iNet
Mentor fellow technicians
Look to improve service center processes utilizing Kaizan
Maintain a clean and functional work area utilizing Five-S
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED NON NEGOTIABLE:
Basic Computer Skills
Good Communication Skills
Basic Soldering Skills
Mechanical Assembly Skills
Very Organized and able to perform multiple task simultaneously
Strong Interpersonal Skills
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED-NEGOTIABLE:
Basic Knowledge of Oracle, Siebel and iNet systems
Experience in repairing surface mount PCBs
Ability to use standard measuring tools and electronic diagnostic equipment
Ability to troubleshoot at a component level
Experience providing excellent customer service
Knowledge of monitoring toxic and explosive gases
MUST HAVE TWO YEAR ASSOCIATES DEGREE IN ELECTRONICS OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE, ABLE TO PASS DRUG SCREENING AND HAVE NO CRIMINAL PAST
