Sr. Information Systems Internal Auditor
Responsibilities:
GDC is currently pursuing a talented Sr. Information Systems Internal Auditor in the Pittsburgh area. This position is a full time career opportunity. Candidates will mainly be responsible for evaluating the integrity of the clients system of internal controls through the performance of information systems operational audits, other integrated operational audits as well as special investigations. Other responsibilities include preparing and completing audit reports and working paper in accordance with the requirements for the Internal Audit Standards Manual, and explaining audit findings and recommendations. Recommendation of corrective actions and suggesting improvements will be required. Submitting audit issues and/or areas of concern, which surface during the performance of scheduled audits to audit manager for use in preparation of the annual risk assessment and audit plan will be part of the responsibilities as well.
Environment:
Work requires above average reasoning ability as well as independent judgment, analysis, and computer skills. Performs functions under routine supervision and seeks direction from the Director of Internal Audit.
Requirements:
- BS/BA Degree
- CISA or CISSP
- 6+ years internal and/or IT auditing experience
- Experience with ERP systems: Lawson, Unix, MySQL, Kronos, Novell, Windows Server, Web Applications, and electronic commerce
- Ability to perform IT risk assessment
- Proficient writing skills, preparation of workpapaers and reports, and presentation of clear concise findings
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Preferred:
- Masters Degree
- CIA
- Experience with Healthcare applications
- PCI Regulatory Requirements experience
- Knowledge of COBIT and/or COSO methodologies
